Contact us (03) 90 31 60 50 Solid Plastering This is a 4 DAY course and can be done in the week or on weekends Solid Plastering is the traditional form of plastering that has been used for interior walls for the last 200 years or so. It was used before partitions using stud and plasterboard where introduced in the 1970's. Solid Plastering has many advantage's over partition walls, a solid plaster wall is stronger and more resistant to damage. As it is plastered onto brick, the wall is both fire resistant and offers better sound insulation than modern stud walls. The wall itself is water proof and can not get damaged through water leaks or burst pipe's. It is quick and easy to repair should the need arise. Unlike stud walls screws can be fitted more securely and in any point in a Solid Plastered wall. The only reason that this wonderful material is not still in use across the board is that it takes much longer to Solid plaster a wall than to erect stud partitions and board them.
Our qualified Solid Plastering tutors will show you step by step how to take a old or new brick wall, that might be crooked and out of alignment and transform it into a solid, level and smooth interior wall.
